Trees filter CO²
Planting trees is one of the most effective solutions in the fight against climate change, as trees pull about ~ 22 kg of CO² out of the air year after year.
This value is roughly comparable to a journey of 100km to the FIT FOR FUTURE event. To balance this, we will plant a tree for each participant.
New roots
Into the forest: at the end of the year, we armed ourselves with shovels and spades and planted the trees together.
Autumn is the perfect time for this, because at this time of year the tree has the best chance to invest as many nutrients as possible in new roots and thus grow optimally.
